ENKWENKWEZINI PRIMARY SCHOOL
Enkwenkwezini Public Primary School was founded in February 1986, it is situated in Menja Street, NU2 Motherwell, Port Elizabeth. It is directly surrounded by poverty stricken areas such as Ramaphosa and Ikamvelihle. The founding principal of the school was Mrs K.C. Cagwe, she diligently served the school for 10 years from 1986-1996.
The school currently has 34 dedicated teachers, including the principal Mrs G.N. Yako, that are tirelessly teaching 1190 pupils in a range of grades from grade R to grade 7. There is a vegetable garden on the premises that is maintained by the Environment Committee.
The Vision statement of the school is to be widely recognized by the wider community as an institution that delivers learners with the skills, knowledge, and values that they need to succeed in a democratic and prosperous South African society and economy in the 21st century.
Through its mission statement the school states that the school will achieve its vision through having a competent, dedicated, and professional staff and a relevant and high quality holistic curriculum. The school will be accountable to and will involve the community and local industry.
